My little drummer boy...

My 3-year-old son, Cyrus has been keeping a steady beat since he was 18 months. He drove me CRAZY as he was always hitting on lampshades. Then one day, it hit me- he's keeping a beat! He's a drummer!

So, we got him a little drum set. Well, he bashed through it within a week. We waited until he was 2 1/2 and bought him a FULL SET off of Craigslist...the best decision ever! We have been completely floored with his talents that have come from God himself...no lessons here! Here's the latest, although, he hasn't practiced in awhile...here goes!

Post Naptime Bliss

I love when my babes get good naps...

Eisley Bree expects a little treat, right away!
...and her lovely attitude deserves it!
Cyrus pretending to be upset.
See? Don't let Cyrus fool you!
Ezekiel, taking it all in.
What a blessing, to be a mother!

A Wedding Gift Re-awakened

I received this amazing gift from my husband just days before our wedding. It meant so much to me. I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. Well, that was almost 5 years ago and I have only recently, in the past month, finally conquered a fear in learning to play. My good friend, Kelly had offered to teach me and I jumped at the offer! I was very nervous and very scared. I was pleasantly surprised at how much it had and has re-awakened my craving to play an instrument and sing along.

I love my guitar. I love the thought that went into my wedding gift. And, I LOVE to play!
Do you have a long, lost, love for something that needs "re-awakened"? I dare you to surprise yourself and go for it!
